September 2010 Prayer Requests

Please Pray For:

• Janelle as she continues to carry our new baby boy in pregnancy. Please pray for her and the babies health & safety. That she would be able to continue to support the work we are a part of in Europe by doing such a great job raising and looking after our amazing boys Caleb & Jaden. That she would have the energy needed to do this well and with much strength and grace.
• The prayer team traveling to Spain from Sept. 28 to Oct. 6, that Jesus would protect us, lead us and guide us as we call on him to see the spiritually reality in Spain transformed. There are 9 of us (Jesus, Barb, Erin, Kevin, Al, Dorothy, Esther, Sara & Ronnie) traveling throughout Spain to visit the leaders and cities where we are working to see churches planted in Spain. We covet your prayers as we pray for this nation.
• The church planter training and church plants in Romania. That God would impart something supernatural into them through training taking place and that as we move toward the completion of the church planting project in Romania that God would establish the churches and for all of them to be both self-sustaining and eternally impacting.
• Us as a family as we settle into life in Kelowna that we would be able to do all we are needing to do to prepare for the new baby, figure out life in Kelowna and continue to empower our Europe family to transform, equip and expand the church in Europe.

July Prayer Update

Please pray for:

• Ronnie's trip to Romania from August 13th-21st to visit the Church Plants in the South East corner of Romania. That the meetings he has with the leaders out there and the time he will be able to spend with the church planters, would be fruitful and beneficial to all. That he would have wisdom, understanding and insight into all that is happening in 14 churches that are being planted. Please pray that God would continue to work things through and give us all a spirit of unity that will enable us to work closely together to see these churches thrive and grow.
• Us as a family. Having traveled so much lately and being so busy this last month, as well as me being away again in August, we are longing for quality family time and opportunities to spend more time together. Please pray that the time we have together would be refreshing and life giving to all of us. That God would empower us to make our time together a priority and that we would have more of it.
• Cheryl and her baby. She is the mom in Janelle's moms group that is going through a very difficult pregnancy at this time and is a very serious situation for both her and the baby. Please pray that God would heal her and protect the baby. That all the other moms (who are not Christians) would see God's loving hands reaching over there situations and that Janelle would be a instrument of His love to them.
• For us financially. That God would make a way for us to see our needs continue to be met and that those who's heart where burdened to join with us in this manner or in a greater capacity while we were back in Canada would follow through on what they know God is asking them to do.

June Prayer Update

Please pray for:

• Our transition into life back in the UK. Especially for Caleb's Jet Leg as he is currently struggling to get back on a UK schedule and the night have been without much sleep.
• Ronnie's trip to Spain from July 7-14. That the discussions that take place, the place we visit, and the people we meet about the future church planting project in that nation would be fruitful and inspiring.
• For one of the families in Janelle's moms group who lost there baby last year around this time and have just had a healthy baby girl. That God would protect them, strengthen them and reveal His love and faithfulness to them more and more through this whole experience.
• For the young adults from our church that we are giving leadership to. That this summer God would work significantly in their lives and that they would see real growth in this time and season.

May Prayer Update

Know that we greatly appreciate all your prayers and faithfulness to the work God is doing through us here in Europe. We have been very blessed by His hand on us and the way He is working with us in all we are doing.

Please pray for:

• One of the our friends (a lady in Janelle's mom's group) who has been in hospital now for a few days. She is possibly need to have an emergency C-section and their baby girls is only 30 weeks old. Please pray for both mom and baby, that they would both be in God's hands and He would give them both strength, comfort and life at this time!
• The great group of Young Adults we are giving leadership to in our church here England. That God would give us wisdom and understand on how to challenge and lead them to become great follower of Jesus
• For all the people in Spain that we have recently ministered to on the iTeam. That God would grow and water the seeds that were planted so they would bear much fruit.
• The Church Plants in Romania and the Short Term Missions Teams that are visiting the church plants in the next few month. That God would use them to expand the church and give it a greater place of influence in their communities.
• Our furlough back in Canada. That God would allow us to spend some great time with all of our wonderful friends and family. That new partnership would be created and people would see the need there is in Europe for the love of Jesus and join us in the work we are doing here.

March Prayer Update

Please pray for:

• Ronnie as he takes on the leadership of the Romania Church Planting Project. That he would lead with God's wisdom and help see vibrant, active and growing churches established in the South East corner of Romania.
  
• For the work and church in Spain in which Ronnie is taking a lead role in helping to developing a church planting project in this nation.
  
• For the work Ronnie and Janelle are starting with the young adults at Kings. That they would begin to build relationships with the young adults and help them come to a place of growth, discipleship and making eternal impact where they have been called to be ambassadors of Jesus.
• For our finances as we enter into our new commitment to the kingdom work here in Europe. That God would bring about new partners to join us in this work and continue to bless those who are continuing to partner with us, having been faithful to us and God, enabling us to fulfill this calling we have to see Europe reached with the love of Jesus.

February Prayer Update

Please continue to pray for us and those who we have the privilege of having relationship with as we serve Jesus and the calling He has given us for Europe.


Please pray for:

• Ronnie as he travels with a colleague on Wednesday from the STM department to visit the Romania Church Planting Project and help with STM training taking place this Friday and Saturday. Pray for them that the training would go very well and the church planters would see the value of the teams coming to minister with them and the teams experiences would be excellent.
• Janelle, Ronnie & Caleb, as we have all taken our turns being sick or are presently not feeling well. Janelle has recently gotten over a case of shingles and we have both had colds that have hit us hard . Caleb has come down with something that has given him a fever and made him pretty sick. He is sleeping lots and getting better. Please pray for our health and continued well being.
• For a few of our friends children who are going through major health issues. Please pray that God would heal Euan, Lauren and Lucas and that He would continue to strengthen and comfort their parents as they journey through these difficult situations. Please pray that they would draw close to God and know that He is with them.
• For the young adults we are leading here in England. That we would know God's heart for them and passionately lead them. Giving them opportunity to grow into the disciples God has called them to be and see them released and empowered into the calling God has given each of them.

January Prayer Update

Please Pray for:

• For us, our families and friends. As living away from them is continually difficult and the biggest sacrifice we have to make to follow the path that God has called us to at this time in Europe.
• For the Romania church planters as they begin to plant the churches in their local communities and build a community of believers who will impact their community for Jesus.
• For Ronnie & Janelle, as we grow in the community relationships that God has given us on the Coventry Jets Football team and Bulkington Mom's group. That we would represent Jesus to those who don't know him and be sensitive to Holy Spirit.
• For the potential opportunity that is before us to lead the Young Adults Ministry within our church. That we would know the right decision to make at this time.
